Cream Cheese Strawberry Banana Bread Recipe


1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
4 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 2-3 medium bananas)
1 cup chopped fresh strawberries
1/2 cup milk

Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
Cream Butter, Sugar, and Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, beat together the butter, sugar, and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Mix Dry Ingredients with Wet Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk. Begin and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
Cool: Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
